Surprised to to see that lavender oil was included in a recipe for wipes meant to be applied directly to a dog's paw for cleaning purposes! I don't know a dog that doesn't lick their paws, and ingestion of essential oils can be toxic to pets. What is natural and safe for humans is not automatically safe for our animal friends. I had just finished reading Simply Clean when I found this recipe in Clean Home. I was excited to start using some of her recipes, but now I don't feel comfortable. Please do research before following the recipes in this book. At the very least, consult your vet. I was so looking forward to utilizing this book in my home, but now I feel obligated to return it. Please consider revising this recipe!
